# Add Stamps
Place image stamps on your PDF pages using an embedded viewer with a stamp annotation toolbar. Stamps can include your name for attribution, making this useful for approval workflows, review processes, and document marking.
## How It Works
1. Enter your name in the **Stamp Username** field. This name will appear on stamps you create.
2. Upload your PDF file by clicking or dragging it into the drop zone.
3. The stamp editor opens with your document loaded in a viewer.
4. Use the toolbar's image stamp tool to select and place stamps on any page.
5. Position and resize stamps as needed.
6. Click **Save Stamped PDF** to download the result.
## Features
- Integrated PDF viewer with a stamp-specific annotation toolbar
- Username attribution on created stamps
- Image stamp placement on any page
- Drag-and-drop positioning and resizing
- Automatic viewer sizing based on page aspect ratio
- File display with name and size information
## Use Cases
- Adding "APPROVED" or "REVIEWED" image stamps to documents in a review workflow
- Placing company seal or notary stamp images on official documents
- Marking pages with "RECEIVED" stamps including the reviewer's name
- Adding quality control stamps to inspection reports
## Tips
- Set your stamp username before uploading the PDF. The username is embedded in the stamp metadata.
- The viewer adjusts its height based on the PDF's first page aspect ratio for optimal viewing.
- For text-based watermarks instead of image stamps, use the [Add Watermark](./add-watermark) tool.
